Common House New Orleans
This landmark building formerly housed the Louisiana Children’s Museum from 1986 to 2019. During the 1880s, the property was a storage warehouse first run by the Port of New Orleans. At that time, Julia Street was a crucial area for storing grain, coffee, and produce shipped through the Port. Today, the neighborhood is known as The Warehouse Arts District and Julia Street is home to over a dozen art galleries. AJ Capital’s restoration was completed in 2024, and the former Louisiana Children’s Museum is now home to Common House—a private social club focused on local programming for the creative community.
