May Hosiery Mills
Dating back to 1908, May Hosiery Mills is the oldest sock mill in the South. In the early twentieth century, May Hosiery Mills was among the largest employers in Nashville. For much of the mill's 88 years, its hundreds of employees, mostly women, manufactured a million socks a week. AJ Capital's meticulous historic restoration of the six-building, four-acre property transformed approximately 198,000 square feet of interior space into a modern-day mixed-use campus featuring A-list tenants in music, entertainment, and design, Soho House Nashville, New York City-based restaurant Pastis, as well as AJ’s headquarters.
